History is the study of chronological records of events of the human past.
Early Human History
Early humans started recording history when written language around 4000 BC when the first civilizations among the Earth's rivers rose to power. One of
the earliest recorded name was an account in Sumeria named Kushim. It was found in a tablet used in barley transaction. It was also ironically the world's first
complaint.

Herodotus
Herodotus is a Greek historian who wrote one of the first history book. Herodotus' technique rely on hearing hearsays which
causes controversy on how reliable his book "The Histories" is. His book, however, was influential in beginning the field of history
as a study.
Herodotus gives an explanation on why the events had happened, the reasoning behind the events and writes them in his book.
Thucydides
A Greek historian who is famously known for writing about the Peloponnesian War (431 BC - 406 BC). His accounts of the war and his writings
of history has dubbed him as the "Father of History". Thucydides is also known for coining the idea "Thucydides Trap" to refer to the event of conflict between
the Spartans and Athenians.
